About Me
My journey into the world of therapy has been an adventure. I worked for 10+ years exploring people’s connection between their physical bodies, minds, and hearts. After graduating from Western Washington University with a degree in Recreation and Wilderness Therapy, I worked and lived many places exploring this connection. From coaching rock climbing to aiding physical therapy and managing float tanks, I worked to get people connected to their physical bodies which often allowed space for minds and hearts to enter. Working in Wilderness Therapy I helped teens, young adults, and families, navigate the healing that wild places can bring.
I returned to school and pursued a master degree in couple’s and family therapy through Antioch University in Seattle. Later, I pursued training in Heart Centered Hypnotherapy and now incorporate hypnosis and therapy when appropriate. This training, and my continued pursuit of education, mentors, reflective communities, and personal therapy allows me to bring a grounded and dynamic approach to my relationship with people in the therapy space.
I am drawn to this work because being human is a weird experience. We all have unique stories, shared needs, and deep wounds. I hope to create space where stories can be heard, needs can be met, and healing can happen.
When I am not practicing therapy or continuing my education you might run into me exploring the beautiful places of the Pacific Northwest.
