My Approach

My approach is collaborative and holistic. I trust that you are the expert on yourself as we explore your mental, emotional, and physical needs. We all have unique journeys and goals so I use a mixture of interventions to support that truth. These include building body awareness with Somatic Techniques, Hypnotherapy, Focusing practice, Inner Child and Reparenting support, Family of Origin work, Gottman techniques for couples, Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. When working with teens and families I often incorporate art therapy techniques and play therapy techniques.

I use education when it is useful for you to support an understanding of the neuroscience and bodily processes that are involved with emotions and relationships.

Therapy is about relationship, safety, and healing. My goal is to create a space for you to feel safe, to step into your vulnerability, and to access your honest process in creating the life you want.
